This week, my Card Class @ Home features the Nested Friends Bundle in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. If you love birds, this one is for you! I tried to talk myself out of getting it, but I couldn't. I'm glad, because I'm really happy I got it. It's so pretty!
I love the bird, but I love the dies that make the nest on my card, too. There is a die that can be used as the base of the nest, and it also embosses. Then, there's a detail nest die that goes on top. You don't have to use them together, though. They work well separately, too.
I used the beautiful Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP) on all three of my cards for the class. This paper was a part of Sale-A-Bration, but it was so popular that they ran out of it last week. It's no wonder...this paper is GORGEOUS!
I earned a few packs while it was still available, and I wanted to be able to give some of it to those that order from me...so you'll get what you need to make two each of the three cards in the class. I think this patterned paper goes great with this bundle, too.
I added a bow to the top of the floral wreath on the DSP using the Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon. It's a double-bow, and I show how I did it in the video above. I've added chapters to the video, and you can go directly to where I make the first card by clicking on that chapter.
The embellishments on the card are Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots, and I used them on all three cards. There are two different sizes in the pack, and I used 4 small ones on this card. These Rustic Metallic Dots are not included in the card kits, but you can get them added free...

I stamped that beautiful bird onto the inside of my card, and colored it just like I did on the front. I show a quick & easy way to color this bird in with Blender Pens in my video above, and you'll love how I did it when you watch it.
