Quick & Easy Masculine Birthday Card - Stamping on Cork

Are you looking for a quick & easy masculine birthday card? Well, this is it! I don't know about you, but I always need masculine cards, and this card fits the bill. You don't need a birthday card? Change out the greeting, and you can make it any card you need!

Once again, I made a non-winter card with the Peaceful Cabin Bundle from the Stampin' Up! July - December 2021 Mini Catalog (Holiday Mini). If you missed my first card, you can see it by CLICKING HERE.

I'm in absolute love with the Cork Specialty Paper from the Holiday Mini! I've used it a few times on my projects, but this is the first time I've stamped on it. I love the rustic look I got stamping that cabin and trees on it.

In case you were wondering, the wood paper across the top of the card comes from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.

I originally made this card for my son's 26th birthday, and it's pictured on the right above. As you can see, his card's stamped images are much lighter than the one I made in my video (on the left). I actually like both versions a lot!

I also used an easy masking technique when stamping the trees "behind" the cabin. No fussy cutting needed! Watch the video below to see how I did it.

I stamped the inside differently in the video, but this is the inside of my son's card. I think I like it this way better.
