New Catalog Celebration - Simply Elegant Suite

I'm continuing my New Catalog Celebration by featuring the Simply Elegant Suite. If you need to make an elegant project, this suite is for you! It definitely lives up to its name. It's perfect for wedding & anniversary projects, and anything else you need to make elegant.

In the picture above, you can see that I made 2 slightly different versions of this card. I'll be sharing both of them below.

Here's the beautiful suite. See what I mean about living up to its name? It includes the Elegantly Said Bundle, Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP), and Simply Elegant Trim. You can click on the picture above to see it in my online store. I also show a close-up of the products in my video below.

I absolutely LOVE how the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP has copper, gold, AND silver foil in it! The design I chose for my card has gold & silver foil in it, so I made a version with more gold and one with more silver. The first one I made has more gold to it, because I used Gold Shimmer Ribbon. I also used Smoky Slate Cardstock for the base layer. I liked this gray better with the gold ribbon.

I used the silver trim from the Simply Elegant Trim on both of the cards, and it comes with silver & gold trim. I could have easily used the gold trim in the pack, but I decided that since I had Gold Foil behind the punched layer on both that I should use silver trim on both. It still would have looked good with the gold trim, too.

My second card, and the one I make in the video below, is more silver, because I used the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon. Since I used this ribbon, I changed the base layer to Gray Granite Cardstock. The actual card base on both of the cards is Basic Gray Cardstock.

There is one thing about the Elegant Tag Punch that comes in the Elegant Said Bundle that you may not know. You can make the tag as long as you want! I actually made the tag a little longer for the Very Vanilla tag for the flower stamp in the Elegantly Said Stamp Set in the bundle. The gold one may look like I did the same thing, but I used another trick to make it look longer.

Learn How to Make This Card and How to Make Both of the Elegant Tags Longer in the Video Below.

I also stamped the inside with that beautiful, elegant corner stamp in the stamp set. You don't have to do much with this stamp to make it look elegant. I just stamped it in Basic Gray. The greeting also comes from the Elegantly Said Stamp Set, and I think it goes great with my anniversary card. Yes, the "Happy Anniversary" greeting on the front of the card is in the stamp set, too.
