This is the first card I've made with the stamp set, Wild About Flowers. So far, I've loved all of the new stamp sets from the new catalog I own. I also used one of my new embossing folders, Brick Wall. It has quickly become one of my favorite folders! This card will be made at my Fun & Cute Stamp Camp later this month.
Tips:
- The Brick Wall embossing is on a separate layer of Calypso Coral cardstock...not on the card base.
- The Old Olive DSP paper is 3/4" wide. It needs to be centered in the 1" guide of the Banner Triple Punch, and then punched.
- I used a dryer sheet and wax paper when die-cutting the butterfly. Layers for die-cutting, beginning from the bottom - Magnetic Platform, cutting pad, dryer sheet, cardstock, wax paper, butterfly die, & cutting pad. This makes the small pieces come out of the butterfly easily.
- I attached the butterfly by putting two Mini Glue Dots onto the center of the butterfly, and then folding the wings up for dimension. I then attached the medium-size Metal Rimmed Pearl.
