Fall Fest CPC 38 Card

I was finally able to play along with this month's Craft Project Central sketch, Creating Pretty Card #38 (CPC38). I really love this month's sketch! It was designed by the VERY talented Regina Andari

You really should play along, too! If you made a card using the sketch, post it to your blog or other online forum (like Splitcoaststampers). Make sure to use CPC38 as a keyword. Then go to the CPC38 Post, and use the link in the post to add your card. Make sure to read the other "do's" and the "don'ts" listed in the CPC38 post. When you play along, you could win a free month Craft Project Central subscription of your choice! Make sure you get your card submitted by August 31, when the sketch ends. Winner (or winners) will be announced within the first few days of September.

I rotated the sketch clockwise a quarter-turn with my card. I just had to use one of my other new Holiday Catalog stamp sets, Fall Fest.  This set also has a coordinating Framelits die set called Fun Fall Framelits. I'm a sucker for the stamp sets that have coordinating dies and punches. The greeting is from a new hostess set, Good Greetings. It's part of a great promo that begins on August 28 when the Holiday Catalog begins. When a host has a $300 workshop or higher (before shipping & tax), she (or he) automatically gets this wonderful stamp set.  Each of the 19 greetings has the same font as the stamp I used on this card. I love it!

Card Tips:  The card was made with a 6" x 6" piece of Soft Suede card stock folded in half. The acorn embellishment on the bottom right of the card is a new embellishment from the Holiday Catalog called Autumn Wooden Elements.  They come in a light-color wood. I colored mine by pressing the acorn into a Baked Brown Sugar ink pad. Once it was the color I wanted, I colored the top part of the acorn (minus the stem) with an Early Espresso marker. I then attached it onto the card with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Below is the list of supplies I used to make this card, along with links to each product at my ONLINE STORE.  Holiday Catalog products don't have links yet, since they aren't available to purchase yet. You don't have too long to wait, though...they become available next Thursday, August 28!
