I wanted to share the birthday card I made my husband over the weekend. I just got this stamp set, Traveler, last week, and it was perfect for his birthday card.
If you look at the burlap ribbon and the chevron ribbon closely, you'll see that they're darker than usual. I wanted them both darker, so I dyed them with my new Crumb Cake Blendabilities. This set of Blendabilites will be available to customers on August 1.
Are you wondering where I got that button? It's one of the Basic Metal Buttons. They're silver buttons, but I colored them with the dark marker from the Crumb Cake Blendabilites pack. I forgot to take a picture of these while I was coloring them. What I did was color straight lines vertically (up and down) until covering the top of the button. Once the ink was dry, I colored straight lines again, but did it horizontally this time (left & right). I liked the look of the lines, so I kept it that way.
