Happy Friday, everyone! This week has just flown by! I haven't posted too many of my own projects lately, because I've been working on the two rooms I use for my Stampin' Up! business...my classroom and office. I have two rooms side-by-side in our basement, and they have needed to be worked on ever since we moved in over 4-1/2 years ago. I finished painting both rooms (walls, baseboard, other woodwork, and doors), and it took a lot longer than I thought it would. The walls weren't too bad, but the woodwork took me awhile. Of course, everything needed 2 coats of paint and then some touching up work. Now, I need to go through some boxes and organize everything I'm keeping. Needless to say, the walls look good, but my office looks like a storage room! lol The classroom looks a lot better than my office, but it's not finished yet, either. I'll post pictures once I get it all done. Hopefully I can get back to posting my own projects very soon.
I do have something else that I've made for Craft Project Central (CPC) to share with you, however. Yesterday, I posted my project for May, and today is the card sketch for the month. This is the first time I've been the one to create the monthly sketch, and I really had a lot of fun doing it. It's a pretty basic sketch, but there are so many possibilities with it. The card sketch is Creating Pretty Cards Sketch #35. There is also a free tutorial on how I made this card that you can access at the card sketch link above. The list of the supplies I used on the card are also included in the free tutorial.
You can participate by submitting a card using the sketch. After you make your card, go to the CPC35 post and use the link tool to add your card. If you play along, you could win a free month CPC subscription of your choice. For every 10 cards submitted, one winner will be drawn. The sketch ends on May 31. I hope you come play along!
