Happy Friday, everyone! Are you ready for the weekend! I sure am! I've got another card to share with you today, and I used the monthly Creating Pretty Cards Sketch at Craft Project Central. It's CPC13.
This is the first card I've made with the new set from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, Summer Silhouettes (p. 82). This set is so much fun to play with! I know I'm going to use it a lot! I also used the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (p. 181) to make the paper-pierced border around the flower piece. It really adds a special touch to the card. I also used the new Fancy Fan Impressions Folder (p. 189) on the Daffodil Delight layer. The greeting was stamped with the new Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (p. 134) and die-cut with the coordinating Bitty Banners Framelits Dies (p. 191). The little flower on the banner is a new embellishment as well. They're called In Color Dahlias (p. 175). I attached it on with a glue dot.
Reminder: I have one free July subscription that I can give away, and one lucky person can win it! Comment on any or all posts dated July 10 - 16th and get your name put into the hat. You'll get your name put into the hat for each comment you make (a limit of one comment per post). So, keep coming back to my blog for the next week and comment. The more comments, the better your chances at winning! I'll draw the winner on Tuesday, July 17 and announce the winner that day. Good Luck!
