This card is being made by my Technique Stamp Club this week. The technique they're learning is Faux Silk. If you look closely, you can see the technique being used on the floral/birdcage piece. This is the first time I've used this technique, and I really like it.
I also just had to use this beautiful set again. It's called Nature Walk (p. 27 in the Occasions Mini). This set is only available for a couple more weeks. The Occasions Mini ends April 30, so you'll need to place your order very soon. The other Occasions Mini items I used are Create A Cupcake (p. 22), Botanical Gazette DS paper (p. 26), Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon (p. 16), Decorative Label Punch (p. 30), and Framed Tulip Impressions Folder (p. 28). The Framed Tulip folder looks a little different, doesn't it? I covered up the tulips with the top card layer to give folder a different look.
I also used the Four Frames set that is part of the promotion this month. This set is going to be in the new catalog that comes out July 1st. If you would like to get this stamp set and/or Paisley Petals DS paper early, you can! Place a $20 order (before shipping & tax), by April 30, and you can purchase one or both of the sneak peek items. To see the Spring is Blossoming Flyer, CLICK HERE. The stamp set and the paper are pictured on the flyer. You can place your ORDER ONLINE anytime, 24/7.

Very pretty. I just learned this technique and used it at a recent meeting with my upline. She loved it and has taught it to some experienced stampers who thought it looked too hard and were surprised at how easy and beautiful it is. This stamp set is perfect for the technique. Nina
