Daisy Delight Mother's Day Card

I hope all of you mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Now that my mom has received her card, I can share it with you. I had so much fun making Saturday's card that I just had to make another one using the Daisy Delight Bundle. I also love Wisteria Wonder & Daffodil Delight colors together. I haven't used Wisteria Wonder for awhile, and I'm so glad I've found a color combo I like with it. The colors listed with the new Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP) doesn't include Wisteria Wonder or So Saffron, but these colors are definitely in the sheet of paper I used. They match perfectly with colors in the paper. My inspiration for this card was one that I saw on Pinterest, and you can find it HERE.

Dimensions:
  • Daffodil Delight: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 4" x 3-3/4" (main image layer mat)
  • Wisteria Wonder: 4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
  • So Saffron: 6" x 3" (flower)
  • Whisper White: 4" x 3-1/2" (main image layer)
  • Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP): 4" x 1" (small, multicolor floral paper)
  • Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon: 6" & 4"

Instructions:
  1. Fold the Daffodil Delight card base in half.
  2. Run the Wisteria Wonder layer through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
  3. Stamp the large daisy stamp from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set onto the So Saffron piece two times using the Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad. Punch both flowers out with the Daisy Punch. Attach the flowers together with a Stampin' Dimensional (dimensional goes onto the back of the flower center of the top flower). Make sure to stagger the petals before attaching.
  4. Attach the DSP layer across the bottom of the Whisper White piece. Stamp the "Mother's Day" stamp from the Circle of Spring Stamp Set onto the top, right corner of the piece using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Stamp the leaf outline stamp from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set onto the top, left corner of the Whisper White piece using the Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad. Ink the solid leaf stamp with the Old Olive ink pad, stamp it onto a scrap piece of paper, and then stamp it on top of the leaf outline. Lay the flower down onto the left side of the piece, lining it up with the leaf. Figure out where the next two leaves need to go, and stamp them the same way as the first. Make sure to take the flower out of the way before stamping. Attach the whole thing across the center of the Daffodil Delight main image layer mat piece. Attach the whole thing to the Wisteria Wonder embossed layer (see picture for placement).
  5. Wrap the 6" piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon around the piece, just above the DSP, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the Wisteria Wonder layer. Then attach the whole thing to the center of the card front.
  6. Attach the flower to the card, lining it up with the stamped leaves, using SNAIL Adhesive. Attach a large faceted gem from the Clear Faceted Gems to the center of the flower. Tie the 4" piece of ribbon onto the right side of the attached ribbon using a single knot. Trim the ribbon ends at an angle.
