Watercolor Wings Birthday Card

Today's card is another one that will be made at my Fun & Cute Stamp Camp. I CASEd this card from one I saw on Pinterest. It was made by Patsy Waggoner. As you can see, I didn't change it much. I used all three stamps for the butterfly (I think she only used two), I centered the butterfly on the card and I added a 2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents.

Tips:
  1. The Lost Lagoon layer was embossed with the Fluttering embossing folder. It was attached to the Thick Whisper White cardstock card base upside down. The debossed side is the one that is on top.
  2. Before attaching the Lost Lagoon layer to the card base, I attached the greeting layer to the debossed layer. I then wrapped the Lost Lagoon Striped Cotton Ribbon around the top of the greeting layer, and attached the ends to the back of the debossed layer
  3. I stamped the bold image of the butterfly with Mint Macaron ink. I then inked up the border of the butterfly with Lost Lagoon ink, stamped on a scrap piece of paper, and then stamped it onto the butterfly. I then inked up the center, detail butterfly stamp with Lost Lagoon ink, and stamped directly on top of the butterfly.
  4. After die-cutting the butterfly, I put adhesive on the back center of the butterfly, and attached it to the card. I die-cut the little ornate butterfly out of White Vellum cardstock. I attached it to the center of the big butterfly with a couple Mini Glue Dots on the back center. I then attached the Tip Top Taupe accent from the 2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents with a Glue Dot as well.
