Festival of Trees CPC41 Christmas Card

I hope you're all having a wonderful Sunday! I've been so busy this month, I wasn't sure if I'd get to make a card using this month's Creating Pretty Cards Sketch #41 over at Craft Project Central. This month's sketch was designed by Michelle Wecksler. The sketch it CPC41. I always have fun playing along.

If you play along, you could win a free month Craft Project Central subscription of your choice. For every 10 cards submitted, there will be a drawing for a winner. Submissions made by CPC designers count towards the 10, but our names won't be put in the drawing. You'll need to hurry, though!  This sketch ends next Sunday, November 30!

This card isn't my usual style, but I think it turned out pretty good. I used the Hexagon Punch to make the notches in the bottom of the banners. The letters were die-cut with the wonderful Little Letters Thinlits dies. I tied the little bows using the Gold 1/8" Ribbon, and attached them with Glue Dots. If you look closely, you can see that the Whisper White layer was embossed with the Northern Flurry Impressions folder. The star was punched out with the star punch in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack from Champagne Glimmer Paper. I attached it to the top of the tree with a Glue Dot, and then attached the tree to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
