Easter Blossoms Mojo

It's Monday, and you know what that means...another Mojo Monday sketch. The last Monday of the month always brings a sketch for either a circle card or a square card. I picked the square card for this one. Just click the sketch picture on the right to go straight to the Mojo Monday blog.

I first embossed the Blushing Bride layer using the Elegant Bouquet Impression Folder (p. 214). I then added the Always Artichoke layer that I punched one long side out with the Eyelet Border Punch (p. 200). I then attached a strip of designer paper from the Springtime Vintage DSP (p. 15 in the Occasions Mini).

I really like the girl silhouette in the Easter Blossoms set (p. 17 - Occasions Mini), so much! She's so cute! Not only that, she's so easy to stamp. I just inked the stamp with Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped her. I also stamped the little square floral stamp in the set to the upper left corner. I then layered her onto some Pear Pizzazz card stock and attached her to the bottom right of the Blushing Bride layer.

The ribbon strip and bow are separate. I attached each end of the Victoria Crochet Trim (p. 190) strip to the back of the Blushing Bride layer. I then tied the other longer strip into a bow on the top. Since the bow is separate, I was able to slide it right where I wanted it. It's easier getting the bow to the go the direction you want it to by tying it on separately, too. After the ribbon was attached, I attached the whole thing to the River Rock square card.

The flower was die cut using the Fun Flowers Bigz L die from the Occasions Mini (p. 39). After die-cutting the layers (River Rock and Rose Red) I wanted, I embossed them with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder (p. 214). I then attached the layers together and attached them to the card, over the ribbon. I then attached a vanilla rose from the Vintage Flower Adornments (p. 15 in the Occasions Mini) with a Mini Glue Dot (p. 197). I then stamped the greeting onto River Rock card stock with Rose Red ink, and I punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch (p. 30 in the mini). I added two Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 197) to the right side of the greeting and Snail adhesive (p. 197) on the left side and attached it to the card.
